Estimates suggest 70–80% of supplements sold online in the UK are white-label products. A contract manufacturer, often based in China or Eastern Europe, produces a standard formula. Brands choose it from a catalogue, put their logo on the bag, and call it their own.
Honey Badger does not do this. Every formula we sell was built from scratch, starting with a specific performance outcome, selecting ingredients based on clinical evidence, determining doses based on what the research actually supports, and testing before we sell.
This matters because a white-label brand has no accountability to the formula. They didn't build it. They can't improve it. They don't know what's in each production batch. We do.

UK manufacturing operates under some of the strictest quality and safety standards in the supplement industry. Every Honey Badger formula is manufactured in the United Kingdom. Not because it's the cheapest option — it isn't — but because it is the right one.
Manufacturing here means we have direct visibility over our supply chain. We know our ingredient suppliers. We can trace every batch. We are not relying on third-party assurances from factories we have never visited on the other side of the world.
When something carries our name, we need to be able to stand behind it completely. UK manufacturing makes that possible in a way that offshore production fundamentally does not.

Capsules require binding agents, anti-caking compounds, and flow agents, ingredients that do nothing for performance and in some cases actively reduce absorption of the active compounds you paid for. They are a manufacturing convenience, not a performance choice.
Whole-food superfood powders require none of this. The ingredient list is the ingredient list. No hidden "other ingredients." No gelatin capsule shells. No magnesium stearate. What you see is what you consume.
Absorption also begins earlier in the digestive process with powder. Capsules must dissolve before release. For time-sensitive ingredients creatine, adaptogenic compounds, this timing difference has real performance implications. Powder is simply closer to food, and your body knows how to handle food.

Every ingredient in every Honey Badger formula was selected because clinical research supports its inclusion at a meaningful dose. We don't chase trends. We don't reformulate because something went viral on TikTok. We follow the evidence.
This means using specific extract studies used in clinical trials, rather than a cheaper generic extracts. It means using cracked cell wall Chlorella, because the cell wall must be broken for the nutrients to be bioavailable. It means using Shilajit because a 90-day double-blind randomised controlled trial showed a statistically significant increase in free and total testosterone in healthy male subjects.
The evidence is cited on our product pages. It is not hidden in a footnote. We want you to read it.
One of the supplement industry's most common practices is the proprietary blend: a group of ingredients listed collectively under a single weight. "Testosterone Optimisation Complex — 450mg." What's in it? How much of each? The brand doesn't have to tell you and most don't.
